Teane provides alternative healing options

Before opening Teeze Therapies, Teane Kenny worked within the Community Services field as she has always wanted to help people. Then Covid hit in 2020 and pushed many people out of work.

“It was a perfect time for me to start my own business and do something I’m passionate about,” Ms Kenny said.

“I saw a lot of people struggling with stress, depression and mental health issues and most saying they didn’t like taking the medication or they didn’t like the way the medications made them feel. There are often a lot of side effects to medications.”

Currently studying to become a Shaman, Ms Kenny completed building a geodesic dome in February and is now offering sound therapy, crystal healing, and crystal reiki sessions, oracle readings and home clearings.

“Sound therapy has been used for thousands of years,” Ms Kenny said. “It works on vibration and gets deep into your body’s cells while also quietening the mind.”

Sessions are 45 minutes to an hour in duration.

As well as her healing sessions, Ms Kenny sells crystals and minerals and creates handmade crystal air plants, jewellery, candles and melts, smudging and much more.
