Tocal College is set to run a face to face Grapevine Integrated Pest and Disease Management course in Griffith in November.

The course has been developed specifically for the viticulture industry and features a 2 day interactive workshop with practical sessions. There are 3 units in the course and topics covered include vine anatomy 101, insect pests, beneficials and diseases that affect the industry today, insect and disease identification and monitoring, pest control techniques, control decisions and options and emergency disease and plant pest response.

The course will run in Griffith over the 9th and 10th of November.

Tocal College is located in the Hunter Valley, NSW and is part of the Tocal Agricultural Centre, a Centre of Excellence within NSW Department of Primary Industries.

The College will also run the Grapevine Integrated Pest & Disease Management course in the Hunter Valley and Mudgee in October and Tumbarumba and Orange in November.
