Veteran Knights Player Matt Gidley Encourages Waratahs Registrations

Former NRL player who played with the Kangaroos, NSW Blues, and is a 221 game veteran of Newcastle Knights Matt Gidley will be the guest speaker at the Waratahs pre-season launch registration day.

The welcoming registration day barbeque will be held on Sunday February 28, for Waratahs seniors and juniors. The venue is not confirmed as yet.

The 2021 Group 20 season kicks off on Saturday March 27, with the commence-ment of junior league.

Players can now be registered online at NRL.com (you must create an account to register). Parents may use active kids vouchers towards registrations also.

Training will commence Wednesday March 3 at Jubilee Oval.

The Waratahs are also putting forward an expression of interest for an all aged group Girl NRL side.
