Waratahs U6s triumph over Lake Sharks

Griffith Waratahs under 6s beat the Lakes on Saturday, April 24.

Coach Matt Henderson was extremely proud of his young team and the effort they put into the game.

Next week the Waratahs will face the Yenda BlueHeelers.

These guys are part of Group 20 JRL U6s Development League, in other words, they’re learning the game.

Rugby League is fun, and to make sure it stays that way for the youngest players, a few minor modifications have been implemented.

These modifications include smaller fields, fewer team numbers, second chance rules and rules to ensure each player has a fair chance at the ball.
