Warm Up The Vocal Chords - It’s Time To Sing Carols
Children dance around in front of the stage, eagerly listening to Santa at last year’s Griffith Christmas Carols event.
The event most children have been eagerly anticipating all year is here - well, maybe the next best thing.
Griffith Christmas Carols will be performed on the Stuart McWilliam Stage in the Burley Griffin Community Gardens this Sunday, December 15 beginning at 6:15 pm.
This family-friendly event promises a night full of Christmas cheer, with performances from local talent, fun activities for the kids and a range of food stalls to keep everyone well-fed and merry.
ProTen sponsored the overall event, with Griffith Real Estate sponsoring a spectacular fireworks display to cap off the evening.
Griffith City Council encouraged residents to be mindful of their pets during the event, especially as loud noises from fireworks can cause distress to animals.
Pet owners should ensure their animals are safely secured.
Residents are reminded to vote for their favourite Christmas Light displays, with voting closing on Sunday, December 22.
Don’t miss your opportunity to support the beautiful holiday decorations across the city and be part of the community spirit, thanks to generous sponsors Soul Property.
Those looking to give back this Christmas, The Giving Tree at Griffith City Library is accepting donations of toys, toiletries, school supplies, non-perishable food and more to help those less fortunate this season.
