It was such a huge success in July that Griffith’s Youth Advisory Group (YAG) decided to organise another Glow Roller Disco for the holidays. All the action will take place at the Griffith Regional Sports Centre tomorrow, September 30.

Event coordinator, Lara Rossetto said the YAG was pleased to be able to bring local youth another activity to look forward to.

“We are really excited to be able to provide another Glow Roller Disco to Griffith,” Ms Rossetto said.

“We have learned a few lessons from last time, listened to the feedback and have made a few changes.

“This time we will have more skates, although, if you have a pair of your own please bring them.

“Come along and enjoy a fun couple of hours with your friends.”

To ensure that as many youths as possible have the opportunity to participate, the event has been split into three sessions.

  • Special Sensory Session (open age and disability-inclusive) from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm;
  • Junior Session (15 and under) from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm with DJ Stefan Donadel; and
  • Senior Session (16 and over) from 7 pm to 9:30 pm featuring DJ Jack Moon.

Pizzas, face painting and glow sticks will be provided.

Children 10 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Funding from the Children and Young People Wellbeing Recovery Initiative - Large Grants (Regional NSW) made this event possible.
